Whether it’s a good, hearty breakfast or a nutritious lighter start to the day, you can take your pick at Brightham House. All ingredients are top quality and, wherever possible, locally produced. Our free-range eggs are locally sourced and our bacon & sausages come from `The Salcombe Meat Company’ a local farm in Salcombe.

What’s more, it’s all cooked courtesy of the owner and chef, Scott Browning, who’s been working in professional kitchens for over 25 years.
 

All our preserves, such as Jams and Marmalade’s our are homemade. This also Includes our welcome cream tea with homemade scones, cream and jam. These are all cooked by Scott in our home kitchen.

Devon Full English – Including choice of eggs your way, local sausage and treacle cured Devon back bacon, vine tomato, portobello mushroom, black pudding, baked beans, sourdough fried slice. (vegetarian option available)

The Ultimate Bagel – Scott’s homemade seeded bagel served with parmesan eggs, portobello mushroom, avocado, and a choice of bacon or smoked salmon
 
Continental – Freshly baked bread, charcuterie, local cheeses, gherkins, chutney
 
Poached Eggs and Avocado – Toasted sourdough with avocado and 2 poached eggs on top. Add some chorizo or cured Devon back bacon if you would like…delicious!
 
Malborough Mushrooms – Buttery, herby, mushrooms on toasted sourdough spread with Devon goats cheese
 
American Pancakes  – Served with crème fraiche, summer fruits and berries, ginger biscuit dust and pancake syrup on the side
 
Vegan’s Heaven on a Plate – Toasted sourdough, crushed avocados, tomatoes, mushroom medley, toasted seeds
 
Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Eggs – On toasted sourdough
 
Gone Crabbing! – Salcombe crab, avocado, spring onion, coriander served on chefs homemade six seeded brown bread, toasted, with two poached eggs on top and chorizo dust. Yummy.
