The Lounges

At Brightham House, we have a spacious lounge, where, when you arrive, you can enjoy our welcome refreshments as we settle you in for your stay with us.

Settle in and make yourself at home. As our Bed & Breakfast is designed to give you that home-from-home boutique hotel experience. 

We have three light and airy lounges that provide a comfortable and cosy setting to relax on your own, as a couple, or mingle with other guests. Often, Lola and Poppy will join you, too. 

In the Guest Bar with have a charming vintage leather Chesterfield, Retro Egg chairs and funky bar stools to rest and enjoy a glass of wine after a day exploring Salcombe.  

It’s a passion of Alistair’s to source unusual statement pieces of furniture. He especially collects branded vintage signs, like Coca-Cola and Guinness. You’ll also find a marshmallow sofa in the snug; it’s quite cool.
