The Orangery

Starting the day with breakfast is a real treat at Brightham House. 

Guests often remark that this is one of the best breakfasts they have ever experienced in any hotel around the world that they’ve stayed in. 

After a good night’s sleep. You’ll wake up and come down to a delicious breakfast buffet selection to help yourself to. 

Take a seat in ‘The Orangery’ where you will be served fresh coffee, tea and juice choices. Then you can choose from Scott’s vast selection of home-cooked and locally sourced hot breakfasts – MENU HERE. Try something different each day. They’re all delicious and yummy. 

‘The Orangery’ is a beautiful light space to relax in. It holds many tropical indoor plants. A paradise for plant lovers, interior design lovers and of course Foodie lovers too. 

Every Thursday from May until September, we host an amazing pop-up restaurant. It’s what we call ‘Italian Feast’ night. 

It’s a popular night of exquisite Italian food all cooked by Janey from Feast Kitchen’s a local chef from our village in Malborough. 

Take a look at the feast – MENU HERE. It’s a six-course Italian experience with Scott’s homemade lemonchello to round off the night. Also, our bar will be in full swing, serving Fizz, Aperol Spritz and a selection of Italian wines.

‘The Orangery’ also serves as a versatile dining space where guests can enjoy an evening meal. Whether you have gathered fresh produce from our local farm shops, opted for a takeaway or fish & chips.

 Our local town, Kingsbridge, has many choices like the famous Indian restaurant, pizza or Turkish delights, that can be delivered to the house.
