As you’ll find out, Brightham House is a B&B like no other! That’s why our trademark catch phrase is: 

“There’s no place like Brightham House”

What makes us different is the special atmosphere that the house holds. It’s like the house is full of love.

So when you explore The Guest bar, you will perhaps understand the unique vibe, and also get that loving feeling. 

The bar is well stocked with many locally produced alcoholic and soft drinks. Guests enjoy drinks in The Garden after a day on the beach. During the evening, the bar is a popular place to socialise, exchanging stories and best beach tips, and places to see in Devon.  

Our local spirt Salcombe Gin, is a favourite tipple before going out for the evening. If you like a proper pint, we have a good selection of Salcombe Brewery ales. The Gold ale is a favourite of Scott’s!

If you are a wine conisuer there’s a good selection of Italian, French and South African wines. We have bags of snacks, nuts that are perfect to enjoy with a glass of vino.

 As with the rest of Brightham House, the bar is a feast for your eyes, as its deco is very much like an Aladdin’s cave full of treasures. The vintage memorabilia hangs from the walls, filling the room with warmth and its character.  You’ll even find a ‘Beatles’ replica drum.

Before retiring to bed, an evening nightcap might round off the day nicely. Salcombe Rum anyone?
