Explore Devon by E-Bike. Devon has so many wonderful attractions. Some of the best in the countryside tracks and coast paths. This year we at Brightham House have two extra additions for the season, with our NEW E-Bikes that you can hire for the day. It’s such a great way to cover lots of miles.

Our off road Synch ‘super monkey’ bikes are super cool too. They’ll take you up the hilly bits with ease, with the boost electric bike assist system. There’s smart phone cradle, so you can program your Google maps route before you set off.

Venture down to Salcombe’s North Sands and park up and enjoy a snack in the Winking Prawn. Or you might like to ride to the other beach South Sands where you can grab a drink in the beach bars. Spend the morning cruising around Salcombe.

Other routes just a few miles from the B&B in Malborough are our local beach Hope Cove. It’s very special. There’s pubs and restaurants such as the Cove Cafe Bar, Hope & Anchor and Lobster Pods. Stop and take a swim, sunbath on the sandy beaches and soak up the sun. It’s also one of the sunset beaches.

Another beach where you’ll also enjoy a stunning sunset is South Milton. It’s part of the Thurlstone stretch of coastline. There’s beach cafe’s where you can buy a beer, kick back and chill. It’s also a perfect beach to paddle board from. There’s a hire shop where you can hire paddle boards, Kayaks and wet suits too.
