This year Brightham House celebrate taking home a ‘Silver’ at the Visit Devon Tourism Awards. We were delighted to have for the second year in a row one an award for ‘The Best Bed & Breakfast Guest House of the Year’. It’s a fantastic achievement for all the hard work that Scott & I (Alistair) have put into our Boutique Bed & Breakfast.

Awards were never on our radar when we first set out in the hospitality B&B world. Winning a tourism award was far from our thoughts when we first opened in March 2018. However in our first year we were nominated for Bed and Breakfast of the Year at the Eviivo Awards in London. Then the following year after our ‘Four in a Bed’ TV appearance, we got a special letter from the AA quality inspection team. This was an invitation to a posh hotel in London. We were lucky enough to win ‘Unique B&B of the Year’

It’s been a fantastic journey so far. We absolutely LOVE being hosts, it’s a real joy! We get to meet lot’s of great people from the UK and around the world. They all take home a slice of Devon Heaven.
